Joseph Mark Adams

Joseph Mark Adams, age 73, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Ozark Riverview Manor. He was born August 10, 1941 in Ozark, the son of Mark Adams and Rosie (Robertson) Adams. Joe graduated from Ozark High School. Joe enjoyed fishing and traveling with his sister, Lula. Survivors include: Two daughters, Melissa George and husband Mark of Nixa, and Pam Adams of Hollister; two grandchildren, Jana George Aven and husband Robert of Nixa, and Hannah Lynn George of Ozark; three great-grandchildren, Elissa Aven, Alexis Aven, and Maddox Casteel; two sisters, Betty Hedgpeth of Marionville, and June Shortt of Springfield; a brother, Everett "Burt" Adams, of Springfield; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Lula Henry, Ann Davidson, Isabelle Johnston, and Gertrude Perryman, two brothers, Lloyd Adams and Floyd Adams, and his parents. A memorial service will be 6:00 PM Thursday, May 28,in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
