Jon Edward Radford

Jon Edward Radford, age 49, of Nixa, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 in his home. He was born January 30, 1963, in Riverside, California, the son of Jerry and Virginia (Welch) Radford. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, and later received an associate degree in accounting. Jon lived most of his life in southern California before moving to this area in 1992. Jon was a 25 year employee of the U.S. Postal System. Survivors include: Three children, AJ Radford and wife Susanna of Springfield, Destiny Radford of Springfield, and Butch Portner of Wynne City, Arkansas; his father, Jerry Radford and wife Peggy, Billings; seven grandchildren, Will Portner, Jacob Portner, Haili Portner, Liberty Radford, Kaden Radford, Mason Radford, and Jack Portner; a brother, Jeff Radford, Nixa; a sister, Debbie Napolitano, Phoenix, Arizona; the mother of his children, Beverly Radford; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Friday, February 10 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Burial with full military honors will follow. Visitation will be from 5:00PM "� 7:00 PM Thursday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
