John B. Holzschuher, age 72, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was born February 12, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Raymond and Mary (Beckert) Holzschuher. In 1963 John married his high school sweetheart, Linda West, in Dresdon, Ohio.
John was a carpenter, and even in his spare time woodworking was his hobby. He was always a hard worker, and an excellent caregiver. He was a loving father and husband, and the family celebrates the fact that John is now with Jesus.
Survivors include: His wife of 54 years, Linda; five children, Johnny Holzschuher of Ozark, Karen Zelmanski and husband Scott of South Florida, Kim Boyd and husband Aaron of Ozark, Amy Gannelli and husband Jason of Ozark, and Sherry Noyes and husband Dustin of Ozark; sixteen grandchildren, Brittany, Lee, Josh, Aryk, Maegan, Summer, Nathan, Tyler, Angel, Tristan, Grace, Brent, Zoe, Sierra, Adam, and Emma; ten great-grandchildren, Zaylee, Kynlee, Maddie, Brooklynn, Braeden, Aaleigha, Faith, Daniel, Riley, and Lilly;
a brother, Francis Holzschuher; a sister, Becky Hayes; and two brothers by choice, Fred Schneider and Dennis Fields. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Clint and Chris Holzschuher.
John was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Phillip, Butch and Billy Holzschuher.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
