John Stewart Hill

John Stewart Hill, age 81, born in Lima, Ohio, went to be with His Lord on Tuesday October 9th, 2024 in Nixa, Missouri at the home he shared with his wife Sally.

John and Sally were married for 56 years. 

He is survived by his wife Sally daughters Noelle (Hill) Upton, son in law Brent Upton, and Kristie Hill. He had a son Gregory John who was waiting for John in heaven. Brent and Noelle had 4 children, Noah and his wife Tricia, Jonah and his wife Hannah, Joram, and Sabrina and her husband Ben Sabin, and 3 great grandchildren, Esther, Georgia, and Adler who belong to Noah and Tricia.

He is survived by one sister Betty (Hill) Lewis and was proceeded in death by his brother Charles Hill, his sister Nellie (Hill) Fox, and parents Stewart and Emily Hill.

John spent the majority of his career in sales, selling both cars and furniture. His greatest roles in life were singing and leading worship in his church, however his greatest joys in life were being a husband, father, papa, and great papa.

A family directed memorial service will be held at James River Church. 

Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
