John Edward Brading

Jonathan Edward Brading Jr., age 77, of Springfield, MO was called to be with our Heavenly Father on January 28, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy, his father John Edward Brading Sr., his mother Stella Brading, and his sister Jane (Brading) Harris. He is survived by his sister Joan (Brading) Clark of Sparta, MO, step-children Marilyn (Richard) U"�Ren of NY, John Rutherford of FL, David Rutherford, of FL, Lisa (Mike) Kislack of NY, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends. John was one of the last babies born in the Old Fort Niagara Hospital in Youngstown, NY. He loved camping and the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family, as well as a good game of poker. He was inducted into the "Old Timers Basketball Hall of Fame"� for his years of high school basketball, was a member of American Legion and was a member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters in California. He will be cremated with no services in Missouri and a very small private graveside service in New York where he will be put to rest with his wife Dorothy. He will be missed by all but never forgotten.
