Joe Schwartztrauber

Joseph Edward Schwartztrauber (Joe) 59 passed away Sunday April 16, 2017 at home. Joe was born to George E and R. Darlene (Petrie) on December 21, 1957 in Des Moine IA. His family moved to Lincoln Nebraska while Joe was a child. He married Deborah K. (Sellars) on May 30,1981. They had 3 daughters; Cheryl (Tucker) Talbott of Lincoln NE, Marci (Justin) Martin of Branson West and Katherine (Jesse) Hounslow of New Zealand. Joe and Deb moved to Missouri with their two youngest daughters in 2005. His final home was on Tablerock Lake where he spent most of his retirement fishing from his boat named "Lady in Red" and kicking up rooster tails in the water when he wanted to get to his favorite fishing locations. He also loved fishing for trout in the trophy section of Taneycomo Lake using flies that he built himself. Joe is survived by his wife and daughters, by his grandchildren Cameron Hounslow, Audrey Talbott and soon to be Ally Martin (August). Also are his sisters Donna (John) Hasso, L. Carlene Corning and Roxane Watson brother Roy (Jan), sister in law Sara Schwartztrauber and brother in law Jeff Kirby. He will be missed by lifetime friends Steve and Pam Taylor. Proceeding him in death were his parents, brothers Jim and Jeff and sister Jerri Kirby and brother in law Frank (Butch) Corning. The fish in his favorite lakes are just a little bit safer now, Rest in Peace Joe.
