Joan Fulton, age 82 of Ozark, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 in Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark. She was born September 18, 1931 in Highlandville, the daughter of Earl and Wilma (Melton) Bolin.
On January 14, 1955, Joan married Jamie Fulton.
Joan worked many years for the Ozark School system, retiring after 31 years. She was a homemaker and especially enjoyed cooking. Joan loved having her grandchildren around. She dearly loved each and every one of them, taking them on camping and fishing trips - always trying to please everyone. Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Joan was a member of Southside Church of Christ, Ozark.
Survivors include: her husband of 59 years, Jamie Fulton; a daughter, Connie Spies and husband Joe of Ft. Worth, Texas and a son, Mike Fulton and wife Vonda of Sparta; three grandchildren, Kim Koskinen, Ft. Worth, Derek Spies and wife Polina, Lewisville, Texas and Deni Fulton, Sparta; great grandchildren, Landon, Christopher, Caroline and Ivanka; her sister, Erva Lou Johnson; her brother, Bob Bolin and wife Becky; many nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and a very special friend, Betty Stoner, Ozark.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 15, 2014 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery, Rogersville. Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home.
