Joan Fraser, age 88, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, while at home. She was born July 25, 1929 in Ashland, MO the daughter of Clarence Lee Taylor and Lola Gladys (Christian) Taylor.
Joan grew up in Kansas City. She met Robert Fraser, a medical school student in Kansas City, and they were married September 4, 1948. They lived in Southern Indiana for 30 years, while Dr. Fraser and Joan worked together in his medical practice. Following retirement they followed their son and grandchildren to Missouri.
Joan was a Christian and attended James River Church since moving to this area. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and most of all her loving family.
Survivors include: Her son, Dr. Robert F. "Rick" Fraser and wife Dr. Anna Fraser of Ozark; two grandchildren of Ozark, Tedd Fraser and Darby Fraser; a sister Shirley Leavey of Springfield, IL; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert Fraser in 2006, and a brother, Conrad "Connie" Taylor in 2018.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 12, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be Friday, May 11, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
