Jim J. Taylor passed away December 25, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born December 26, 1929 at Bucoda, MO. Jim was the son of Bodge and Suzie Taylor. Jim moved to St. Louis, MO in 1943 and joined the U.S. Navy while living there. In 1949 he married the love of his life Earline Stephens. They were married for 67 years until she passed away May 30, 2017. Jim worked for the Frisco and Missouri Pacific Railroads in Missouri and Kansas. He also worked for Acme Brick in Great Bend, KS and later in Springfield, MO. He and his wife established Taylor Marble Company which was located in Nixa, MO. They sold the company and retired to Eagle Rock, MO (Table Rock Lake) where they lived until moving to Nixa in 2002. Jim is survived by four children, four grandchildren and two brothers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial with military honors will follow in Delaware Cemetery, Nixa. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Arrangements under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, MO
