James Henry "Jim"� Dye, age 76, of Highlandville, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011. He was born April 3, 1935 at Bluff, Missouri, the son of Ernest Milo and Vera Lucille (Zeigler) Dye. On March 22, 1953 he and Nathalea Cox were united in marriage. Jim always enjoyed his work as a farmer. He also spent several years trucking with good friends. Jim was a member of Green Mound First Central Baptist Church. Survivors include: Two children and their spouses, Kimbel and Brenda, and Dianna Price and Eric, all of Highlandville; six grandchildren, Gail Warden and husband Danny, Kevin Dye and wife Jenny, Daniel Price, Steve Price and wife Jess, and Emily Dye, all of Highlandville; and Betsy Jones and husband Darrick, El Paso, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Hayley, Jayme, James, Nathaniel, and Gabriel; a brother Glenn Dye and wife Carolyn, a sister, Bonnie Bishop and husband George, all of Highlandville; a brother-in-law, Clell Cox and wife Donna, Willow Springs; and his friend and companion, Karen Henry. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Nathalea, in 1999, and his parents. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 19, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Gary Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
