Jerry Lee Bilyeu, age 70, of Ozark, MO, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. He was born September 11, 1947 in Sparta, MO, the son of Everett and Marianne (Bullis) Bilyeu. On January 9, 1975 he and Ginger Hedger were married.
Jerry worked as an auto mechanic until retirement. He and Ginger enjoyed woodworking and attending craft shows with many handmade items. Jerry was a gun collector and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include: His mother, Marianne Bilyeu of Sparta, MO; one daughter, Amanda Jo Weddle and husband John of Sparta, MO; nine grandchildren, Kaleena and Xadie Smith, Breanna Shipman and husband Justin, Jazmine and Kiara Cunningham, Mason Weddle, Brandon Weddle and wife Kenzi, and Lucas and Eean Weddle; two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Koltin Shipman; a sister, Susie Bilyeu; and two brothers, Darrell Bilyeu and Roy Bilyeu;
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger, in 2004; three children, Pauline Bilyeu, David Bilyeu and Pam Bilyeu; and his father, Everett Bilyeu.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with grandson Rev. Brandon Weddle officiating. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Monday.
