Jerry Lee Arterberry

Jerry Lee Arterberry, age 79, of Nixa, Missouri entered into rest on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at home with his family by his side.

Jerry was born on September 21, 1943, to the late James and Mary (Essick) Arterberry.

Jerry was preceded by his parents, brother Bob Arterberry, sisters; Jody Revis (Bill), Eileen Johnson (Dick), Norma Benford, Aleimdia Randolph (Dave), and two infant siblings. He is survived by his wife, Doris Arterberry, children; Lesa Powell (Randy), Jerry Lee Arterberry (Angela), Jim Arterberry (Shannon), Larry Foster (Tena), eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jerry enjoyed spending time outdoors with his pets, cooking for family and collecting Daisy BB guns, airplanes and Red Rider memorabilia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be sent to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or St. Jude’s in loving memory of Jerry.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be held form 6-7 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa
