Jeri Rae Leonard

Jeraldine Rae Leonard age 63, of Nixa, MO., passed away Tuesday, February 09, 2016. She was born March 12, 1952, in Huntington Park, California, the daughter of Theodore and Lila Johnson. She was a graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield, MO. Jeri was a stay at home mother until her daughter Dawn, was in high school, then she started working at Ozark Mold & Engineering that was a family owned business. She worked at Ozark Mold & Engineering for 18 yrs., then began working and retired with O'Reilly's as a Corporate Assistant. Jeri was an avid Spades player online and was in a group called Dr. Suess and with many friends from there that she kept in frequent contact with. Jeri enjoyed going to Bingo with her mother, Lila and had friends that she enjoyed visiting with there. Jeri loved to be with family and wanted family to always surround her. Jeri loved taking family vacations and was always up for a new adventure. Jeri played piano for many years and loved all forms of music. Survivors include her mother, Lila Johnson, a daughter, Dawn Leonard and fianc� Billy Patterson, a ex husband and loving friend, William Leonard, three grandchildren, Ryan Leonard, Gavin Alexander, and Caleb Alexander, two great grandchildren, Keeley Leonard and her mother, Alyssa Hardy and Allison Leonard, three step grandchildren, Malachi, Cameron, and Cadence, a sister, Diane Gaddy and husband J.W. Gaddy, Rogersville, MO., and many nieces and nephews. Jeri was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Johnson and her sister Cynthia Johnson. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, MO with burial of cremains at Sparta Cemetery in Sparta, MO.
