Jeffrey Richard Purvis

Jeffrey (Jeff) Purvis passed away suddenly on Monday, November 8, 2021. Jeff was born on October 25, 1969 in Burlington, Iowa to Richard and Janice (Weaver) Purvis. He was a graduate of Blue Springs High School, class of 1988. He attended Southeast Missouri State and Missouri State University graduating with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Jeff had numerous hobbies he enjoyed throughout his life. His generous nature and giving spirit will live on in the memories of those he knew and loved. He was a loyal friend, loving husband, father, son, and uncle. Jeff is survived by his wife Tina (McCain) Purvis, son Elliott Purvis, father Richard Purvis, sisters Jeniel Fiorella (Mark), and Joelle Lennard both from Lee's Summit, and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Janice Purvis. A celebration of life will be held in Jeff’s honor, to be announced at a later date.
