J.D. Fitzpatrick

Joe "J.D."� Fitzpatrick, age 76, of Marionville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. He was born June 21, 1934 in Nixa, the son of Carl and Mamie (Bolin) Fitzpatrick. J.D. was a farmer, had owned and operated area restaurants, and served as a maintenance engineer for Elfindale Retirement Community. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Marionville, and a member of Elks Lodge #409, Springfield. Survivors include: His wife, Zona; three sons and their wives, David and Peggy Fitzpatrick, Marionville, Ron and Reta Fitzpatrick, Clever, Carl and Jeannette Fitzpatrick, Marionvillle; two step-children, Donna Ellingsworth, Green Forest, AR, and Randy Lane and wife Kayla, Billings; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Fitzpatrick and wife Beulah, Nixa, Jack Fitzpatrick and wife Peggy, Forsyth; a sister, Lalia Thomas, Ozark; a sister-in-law, Tonya Reuteman, New York; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa; Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, in Adams Funeral Home, with Pastor Lee Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery, Nixa. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Payne Cemetery.
