Jason Lee Sissel, age 25, of Spokane, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011, as a result of an accidental drowning while enjoying a beautiful day hunting arrowheads. He was born July 14, 1986, the son of Danny and Karen (Key) Sissel. He graduated from Spokane High School in 2005, and on October 10, 2010 he and Jacinda Kay Adams were united in marriage. Jason was a dry wall finisher and worked with his brother for Dynamic Drywall. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying canoeing, fishing and hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Jason was an avid arrowhead collector. Survivors include: His wife, Jacinda; his seven month old son, Lane Lee Sissel; his parents, Danny and Karen Sissel, Highlandville; two brothers, Adam Sissel and wife Brandi, Nixa, and Daniel Sissel, Nixa; a sister, Jennifer Sissel, Highlandville; two nephews, Ethan, and Dalton; a niece, Abbi; a grandmother, Peggy Drane, Montana; his parents-in-law, Cindy Newberg, Highlandville, and Richard and Mary Adams, Buffalo; his best friend, Levi Strader, Highlandville; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 29, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Richard Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P M on Friday at the funeral home.
