On Sunday morning, November 9th, at the age of 94, Mom slipped into eternity to meet Jesus, her Lord and savior, face to face; and join her loving husband, her beloved parents, and her first born grandchild, Pamela. She was born to Frank and Laura Skoczek on April 6, 1920, in Milwaukee, in the home where she would raise her family and live for 77 years. On September 13, 1941 she was united in marriage at St. Josaphat's Basilica to the love of her life, Norbert, her "Connie". She spent the rest of her days here in the Ozarks. Mom was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and auntie. She was a homemaker, an excellent cook and baker, creative and crafty. She did her job and lived her life well. "Well done, good and faithful servant, sayeth the Lord, Matthew 25:23.
She is survived by her children Laurie and Tom, Tina and Greg, Frank and Annie, and Steve; grandchildren Michele and Ken, Emily, Aaron and Angela, and Alec; great grandchildren Jacob and Arya; and nieces, nephews, and her Nixa family. She was fondly called Grandma Jane by everyone.
There will be a gathering from 10:00 A.M., with mass at 10:30 A.M., Friday the 14th, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Ozark. Burial will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Milwaukee at a later date.
