James F. Wilson

James Wilson III, age 77, of Highlandville, passed away January 3, 2014, in St. Louis. He was born to James II and Helen (Jones) Wilson, December 18, 1936, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Patricia O'Conner, November 13, 1976. James served in the U.S. Army for six years, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. James and Patricia owned a business for several years, manufacturing bolts, and rivets for the aircraft industry. James loved to hunt and fish with his father. He raised beagles, and loved boating, water skiing, snow skiing, and he enjoyed wood carving. James was a happy guy, and had a dry wit. James served on the Stoneshire Association, and the Stoneshire Road and Water Districts. James was a member of the Nixa senior Center. James liked to stay active James is survived by his wife; three daughters, Deanna, Terri, and Kristy; a step daughter Cara, of Las Vegas, NV; and a sister Jan Sayre, of Ocala, FL. James is preceded in death by his parents. The family requests no flowers or plants be sent, however Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
