James F. Pratt

James F. Pratt, age 69, of Nixa, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011. He was born November 2, 1941 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of William F. and Daisy (Lucas) Pratt. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. In 1967 he and Donna Friend were united in marriage. Mr. Pratt was employed as a tour bus driver for Show-Me Coaches, formerly Sunnyland, and Husky tour companies. He served as a bus driver for Springfield Public Schools. Mr. Pratt was also a real estate agent for Century 21. Survivors include: His wife, Donna; a daughter, Michelle Savage and husband Scott, Nixa; three grandchildren, Evan Morgan, Gage Copeland, and Sophia Savage; two sisters, Delores Vaughn and husband Bill, Springfield, and Judy Blakey, Springfield; a son-in-law, Jay Morgan, Springfield; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Landers, Springfield; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Pratt Morgan on December 18, 2010, a sister Norma Jean Ray, and his parents. Visitation will be from 1:00 "� 2:00 PM Thursday, October 6, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A graveside funeral will follow at 2:30 PM Thursday, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
