James William Patrick

James William Patrick, age 87 of Reeds Spring, passed away April 19, 2024.  He was born May 17, 1936 in Stone County, the son of James Pleasant Patrick and Evelyn (Davis) Patrick.

James was united in marriage to Mary Jane (Patty.)

James worked for more than 50 years in construction.  He was a member of Laborers' International Union of North America. James enjoyed riding horses, bird hunting, and reading.  James was a member of Finley River Cowboy Church in Spokane.

Survivors include:  his wife, Mary Jane Patrick  of Reeds Spring; his daughter, Bonnie Hill and husband Rick of Clever; and three sons, Randy Patrick of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Marty Patrick and wife Brenda of Alliance, Nebraska, and Rick Patrick and wife Lydia of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and his bothers, Donald Patrick, Bob Patrick and Dan Patrick.


A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Finley River Cowboy Church in Spokane, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jeff Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Eisenhour Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. immediately before the funeral at the church.
