James William "Jim" Lamb

James William “Jim” Lamb, age 74 of Nixa, met his Lord on April 10, 2022.  He was born January 7, 1948 in Monticello, IL, the son of Howard William and Elizabeth (Grove) Lamb.

Jim graduated from Bement High School in 1966.  He met Judy Ann Gibler at Panhandle State College in Goodwell, OK.  They were united in marriage on June 7, 1968 at the United Methodist Church in Hooker, OK.

Jim was of the Methodist faith.  He farmed in Illinois and Missouri.  Jim was also in sales in Colorado and was known to say he took care of both ends of the cow.  He sold feed trucks and spreaders.  Jim was an avid gardener. 

Survivors include:  his wife, Judy Lamb of Nixa; children, Amanda Pennington of Springfield and James Tyler “Jamie” Lamb and wife Megan of Raytown; an angelic granddaughter, Nora Lamb; and his beloved dog, “Stanley”. 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and his stepmother, Martha (Kilton) Lamb.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Rosedale Valley Memorial Gardens, Nixa, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jamie LaSalle of Greenfield officiating.  A visitation will be held from 2-2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
