James Roy Jaqua, 75 passed away in Springfield, Missouri, March 6, 2017. James was born April 9, 1941 to Charley and Nola (Estes) Jaqua in Springfield. James was united in marriage to Linda L. Werts on August 12, 1967.
James served his country in the Army National Guard. James was a hard worker and worked for many years at DAYCO Manufacturing. He loved to ride his golf cart around the neighborhood and visit with folks. James had a great sense of humor and often enjoyed playing a few practical jokes on friends and neighbors. He loved to tinker and build bird houses. One of James's favorite pass times was fishing and he participated in several bass tournaments. James was loved and admired by his many friends, neighbors, and family.
James was preceded in death by his parents and wife Linda.
James is survived by his daughter, Tammy Hartley, husband Eric, and granddaughters, Erica and Emma.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Glenn Cemetery in Nixa. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
