James (Jim) Howard Baysinger, passed from this life at 5:00 a.m., on April 6, 2012. As a Teacher, Administrator and Evangelist, he leaves behind a lasting legacy of wise lessons. Jim was born on Oct. 2, 1927 in Kansas City, MO. He served in the Navy and graduated from MSU and MU. In 1952, he married LuAnna Aven who survives. Jim and LuAnna are members of the Riverside Road Church of Christ in Ozark. He made his home in Nixa and had three loving children, son Lane and wife Roberta and daughter Lana Baysinger all of Nixa. Link Baysinger precedes him in death. He proudly claimed two granddaughters, Brenna Hannaford and her husband, Heath, and Kristin Goodnight and her husband Marty, as well as five great-grandchildren, Nathan Mathews, Hayden Hannaford, and Aven, Miles and Elaina Goodnight. Jim is survived by one sister-in-law, Lois Anderson and her husband Gerry, many loving neices and nephews and his special Christian family from near and far. Visitation will be held in Adams Funeral Home in Nixa on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Riverside Road Church of Christ will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be submitted to Riverside Road Church of Christ, Ozark, MO., or the American Cancer Society.
