Jackie Lynn Oehling

Jackie Lynn Oehling, age 71, of Sparta, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on Valentine's Day in 1943 in Sparta, the daughter of Lloyd and Eva May (Johnson) Wilson. On April 2, 1983 she and Allan Dean Oehling were united in marriage. He preceded her in death in 2004. Jackie operated a beauty shop in Sparta for 43 years. She enjoyed having dinner with friends and sharing activities. Although Jackie had been struggling with her health, she worked hard to maintain her strength and independence. Her positive attitude and spirit were an inspiration to family and friends. Survivors include: Her son, Daniel Workman of Springfield; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 22, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery.
