Jack Coughlin, age 89, of Ozark, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. He was born October 17, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska, the only child of Jesse and Gladys (White) Coughlin. He served his country in the U.S. Army Military Police. Jack lived in Nebraska, Colorado, and California before coming to Ozark, Springfield, and Branson fifteen years ago. For over 30 years Jack entertained people as a diving comedian. He was a member of a comedy clown diving team, The Aqualuniacts, working for Disney and throughout the country. Jack also was an inventor and held several patents in mechanics and electronics. He was an entrepreneur, owning his own heating and air-conditioning business. Survivors include: His five children, Jack Noel Coughlin and wife Lisa, Oregon, Sharon June Coughlin, Wisconsin, Jerry Fred Coughlin and wife Karen, California, Mark Allen Coughlin, Texas, and Carol Lynn Coughlin, Ozark; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His wife, Donna Spain preceded him in death. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
