Ivan Henry Johnson

Ivan Henry Johnson, age 54, of Bruner, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He was born November 21, 1963 in Springfield, the son of John and Kathleen (McHaffie) Johnson. The family moved to Bruner in 1972, and Ivan was a 1982 graduate of Sparta High School. Ivan was Vice President for Best Supply Company, a family business until 2005, when he went to work for Johnston Industrial Supply. Ivan built a house at Bruner in 1995. He loved working on his farm. He also enjoyed hunting, cooking and was a wonderful baker. Survivors include: Two sons, Justin Johnson of Bruner, and James Johnson and Becky Smith of Buffalo; his parents John and Kathleen Johnson of Bruner; two brothers, Andy Johnson and Carolyn of Minneapolis, and Larry Johnson and Glenda of Bruner; two nieces, Briana Johnson, and Kayla Gregory and Luke; and a nephew, Trent Johnson and Christy. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 4, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will follow the service on Sunday until 5:00 PM.
