Ima Lorene Braden, age 90, of Nixa, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. She had been a resident of Christian Health Care of Nixa. She was born November 2, 1922 near Fordland, the daughter of Ivory Erman and Effie Elvina (Criger) Burks. In 1940 she and Ross Harold "Curley"� Braden were united in marriage. They moved to California in 1941, where their three children were born. They returned to Missouri in 1955. Ima worked at Hagale Garment Factory in Ozark, Royal McBee in Springfield, and later worked alongside her husband building homes. She loved her family and especially enjoyed entertaining her grandchildren. Ima fished whenever she had the time and also enjoyed hunting. Survivors include: Her three children and their spouses, Harold and Wilma Braden, Sparta, Gary and Mary Braden, Ozark, and Connie and Tom Schilling, Lazy Acres, Arkansas; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kevin and Tammy Braden of Ozark, Kirk and Ronda Braden of Ozark, Gary Lee, Jr. and Trixie Braden of Ozark, and Tony and Trina Blair of Long Grove, Iowa; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler Blair, Jordyn Beads, Cody Braden and wife Jenny and their son Parker, Candace Bilyeu and husband Travis and their children Jaxon and Lauren, Brenan Braden and wife Whitney and their daughter Autumn, Bryan Braden and wife Jordan and their daughter Kherington, Abby Braden, and Madison Braden; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Curley in 2005, a brother Doris, two sisters, Twilla and Tootsie, several nieces and nephews, and her parents. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 12, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Friday in the funeral home.
