Howard Clapp, 73, of Ozark, MO, passed away on October 18, 2021 from complications following a stroke.
Howard was born on May 18, 1948 to Bernadine and Howard Clapp Sr. in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from Oregon High School in 1966 and received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1975. Howard served as a Gunner’s Mate for the United States Coast Guard from 1969-1973, during the Vietnam War. He moved to Ozark with his family in 2005.
Howard was a devout Christian with a big heart. He loved spending time with his children, watching Wisconsin Badgers football, caring for his dog Angel, and spending time in the Word.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bernadine & Howard Sr., older sister Donna, and older brother David. He is survived by his younger brother Robert, younger sister Carol, son Jeremiah, three daughters, Moriah, Kelly, and Kristin, and the mother of his children, Mary Clapp.
A private memorial service will be held at a future date in Wisconsin.
