Hestel Jones

Hestel Jones, age 82, formerly of Stockton, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011. He had been a resident of Ozark Riverview Manor for the past three years, and had also lived in Kansas City, Missouri, before returning to this area. Dallas Hestel Jones was born February 23, 1929 in Ozark County, Missouri, the son of Clyde and Vada (Martin) Jones. On July 23, 1949 he and Kathleen Lois Tannehill were united in marriage. Mr. Jones worked in construction and was also a farmer. He was a Baptist by faith. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include: Two children and their spouses, Lucy and Dean Billingsley, Highlandville, Missouri, and Ralph C. and Brenda Y. Jones, Overland Park, Kansas; three grandsons and their wives, Scott and Amber Bayliff, Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Eric and Marsha Jones, Eldon, Missouri, and Nathan C. and Emily Jones, Overland Park, Kansas; two brothers and their wives, Herval Dean and Norma Lou Jones, Gainesville, Missouri and Norval and Esther Jones, Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Norma Whittington and husband Truman, Ozark, Missouri; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen in 2008, and his parents. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 26, in Salem Baptist Church, Ocie, Missouri. Burial will follow in Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia. Visitation will be 4:00 "� 7:00 PM Tuesday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
