Herman Glossip, 89, Brookline, Missouri passed away June 4, 2011 in Sonshine Manor, Republic. He was born September 15, 1921, in Ponce De Leon, Missouri, the son of Joda and Mildred Glossip. He served his country in the US Army from 1942-1945, in the South Pacific Islands. In 1946 he married Imogene Moore and to that union two sons were born, Larry and Dwight. Herman was of the Baptist faith. In 1986 he retired from employment at the MFA Farm Supply. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Imogene, two brothers, four sisters, a step-son and step-grandson. Herman married Virginia Logan Dulin in 1971 and is survived by her, his two sons Larry and wife Paula, Dwight and wife Melodee, three grandsons Jody, Kenny and Dwight Jr., two great-grandchildren, three step-sons, two step-daughters, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services with full military honors will be at 3 P.M. Wednesday in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 "� 2 P.M. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
