Helen Louise Pruitt

Helen Louise Pruitt, age 80, of Nixa passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 in her home. She was born May 5, 1938 in Lanagan to Paul and Ruth (Taylor) Latty. She was raised in Lanagan and graduated from Lanagan High School. Helen married Joe B. Pruitt April 16, 1960. Helen worked for FASCO Manufacturing in Ozark for over 20 years. After retiring from FASCO she met with fellow co-workers every month for lunch. Helen worked as a baby sitter at the Nixa Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed planting flower beds, listening to Elvis Presley records and driving to Las Vegas every year. Helen loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Helen was a loving mother, mema and friend. Helen is survived by her two sons Joe K. Pruitt, his wife Rhona of Nixa and Kim Pruitt, his wife Suzi of Nixa; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; a sister Linda White, her husband Lee of Phoenix, AZ; and a brother Steve Latty, his wife Tracee of Phoenix, AZ. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joe of 43 years; a son Kevin Pruitt; and a grandson Christopher Pruitt. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, August 31, 2018 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa
