Helen Louise Price

Helen Louise Price, age 73, of Nixa, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. She was born July 4, 1938 in Dallas County, Missouri, the daughter of Burl and Novilla Cooksey. In 1957 she and Donal D. Price were united in marriage. They have been residents of Nixa since 1959. Helen was a Nixa bank employee for many years. She was a devoted member of Calvary Bible Church and served as Church Secretary and Treasurer for many years. Throughout the years, she supported her husband by attending games as Don coached Bakersfield, Annapolis, Spokane, and Nixa teams. She was always willing to help others with whatever needs they had. She also enjoyed handiwork. Survivors include: Her husband, Don; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, J.B. Dornan, Juanita Satterfield, Onis Price, and Jeanie Price; several nieces and nephews; and many friends who she considered her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Willa Dornan, a brother Floyd Cooksey; brothers-in-law, Frank Price and Neil Satterfield; and sister-in-law, Joy Price. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 1, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Lance Ogden and Brother Joe Fahl officiating. Burial will follow in McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery with Rev. Colter Rantz officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Bible Church or to the Gideons.
