Helen Page, age 91, of Nixa, passed away November 24, 2012, in her home at The Essex in Ozark, surrounded by her loving family. Mary Helen Frazier was born September 19, 1921, in Boaz to Lee and Blanche Frazier, the second of four children. In January, 1942, she married Gerald Page of Ozark. Except for a few years spent in Columbia and Weaubleau, Missouri, she lived her entire life in Christian County where her husband was the Vocational Agriculture teacher in Nixa for many years. They raised five children and were very involved in the Nixa First Baptist Church as well as school activities, especially FFA. Helen served as Chief Cook on FFA trips that Gerald organized taking students on trips all over the country. Family camping trips found her in the same role. After all her children were in school Helen took a job at Fasco where she worked for many years. After Gerald"�s death in 1988, Helen often went fishing or spent evenings playing cards with friends. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. Helen was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield. Survivors include: her children, Linda and husband Gary Wallace of Shelbina; Betty and husband Gerald Fisher of Highlandville; Jerry and wife Pam Page of Derby, Kansas; Carol and husband Terry Vandekerkhove of Battlefield; and Kenny Page of Nixa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sheila Kottong; a sister-in-law, Ilene and husband Les Workman; and her extended family at The Essex. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 28, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM on Tuesday in the funeral home.
