Helen Ewing

Helen Ewing of Ozark was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2018, at the age of 101. She was born May 20, 1917 in Douglas County, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Elsie (Hall) Grimmet. She was united in marriage to Oliver Ewing on April 9, 1935. She was a cosmetologist, a secretary for Quik-Set Lock Company, and a gifted hostess to many relatives and friends. Helen is survived by one sister, Frances Ewing; nephews and nieces, Gary Ewing and wife Loretta, Nadia Hull, Larry Ewing and wife Sharon, Ann Mathews and husband Jim, Scott Ewing and wife Jackie, Greg Ewing; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Mildred Grimmet, a brother-in-law, Jim Ewing, and a nephew-in-law J.E. Hull. The family would like to express our deepest thanks to Haven Home Health and Hospice and Sutton In-Home Senior Care for their loving care and support for Helen. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, July 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Hall Cemetery at Mound. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until service time on Wednesday.
