Hazel Lorene Holt

Hazel Lorene Holt, age 93 of Reeds Spring, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. She was born July 23, 1919 in Spokane, the daughter of Leslie Glen and Myrtle (Turner) Wilson. In 1938 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Willard Holt. Hazel was a homemaker, taking care of her family and helping on the family farm in Stone County. Survivors include: her children, Linda Ellis, Marshfield, Ruth Coffelt, Spokane and Rick Holt, Purdy; three grandchildren, Lesley Ann Sumners, Aurora, Jackie Sue Peterson, Marshfield and Kerry Dishman, Marionville; five great grandsons; one great granddaughter; and her nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her three sisters, Ruth Stewart, Stella Yeager and Merle Amos; her brother, Clell Wilson; and son in law, Jim Ellis. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in Spokane Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
