A memorial service for Grant will take place 2:00 Saturday at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. The service itself will be brief, but we would love for everyone that wants to come to be there and participate in a prayer flag memorial.
To send our love to Grant as he begins his new journey we will be creating and hanging our version of prayer flags. We are asking everyone who attends to draw a picture, write a prayer, poem, quote, message or whatever you want. Your messages will be hung around the funeral home and we will let the breezes of a beautiful spring day carry our thoughts to Grant as he continues his journey.
Help us send all of our love and compassion to our son, this community, and to everyone that is suffering right now.
If you don't have time to create a message in advance don't worry - poster board, flags, and markers will be available at the service for you. And if you can't attend in person you can still hang a flag for Grant. No matter where you are your words will find him.
We are also asking that you please do not send flowers. Instead, we would appreciate your support of the Community Partnership of the Ozarks and their suicide prevention program. You can make donations online at http://www.cpozarks.org/ or mail checks to:
Community Partnership of the Ozarks
330 N. Jefferson Ave.
Springfield, MO 65806
Please note that your donations are in memory of Grant Posten and they will make sure to direct them to the right place.
Thank you again for all of your love and support, it is very comforting during this difficult time.
We love you all.
