Grady James Lloyd, age 78, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the home he shared with his daughter. He died on what would have been his mother's 100th birthday. Grady was born February 21, 1939 in Bennington, Oklahoma, the son of Parker and Vivian Viola (Gardner) Lloyd. Grady was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. He was a 1958 graduate of Ozark High School, and on June 1, 1958 he and Barbara Jo Tindle were married. Grady and Barbara owned Ozark Packing Company. He was a hard worker and enjoyed making friends with his many customers. He was a member of Ozark Presbyterian Church. Grady always took pride in his yard and looked forward to meals with his family. Recently Grady enjoyed going places in his truck, watching TV and facebook. Survivors include: His wife, Barbara; two children, James Lloyd and wife Sheila of Ozark, and Joleen VanHoose and husband Joel of Ozark; five grandchildren, Amy Acker and husband Mark, Stephanie Bloom and husband Mike, Aubrey VanHoose, Andrew VanHoose, Zachary Lloyd and wife Nicki; eight great-grandchildren, Eli, Elena, Avery, Capri, Coen, Taygen, Leighton, and Kya; a brother, Wesley Lloyd and wife Linda of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Jim Edmondson and Ron Tindle; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Minerva Edmondson, a brother Phillip Lloyd, infant brother Donald Lloyd, and his parents. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 29, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in McCoy Cemetery, Ozark.
