Glenn Richard Ramage

Glenn Richard Ramage, age 92, entered his eternal heavenly home on June 27, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1931, in Omaha, Nebraska to Lester E. Ramage and Serilla W. (Peters) Ramage.

Glenn graduated from Omaha Technical high school in Omaha, Nebraska in 1948. After high school he enlisted and served in the Navy for four years serving on the USS Midway. He received an honorable discharge in 1952 as an aviation second class Petty Officer. After he was discharged from the Navy, Glenn went on to work for AT&T for 38 years as an Installer Repairman and a PBX Installer Repairman. He met the love of his life Jacqueline I. (Holtz) Ramage and married her on May 2, 1954, where they had three beautiful children Richard, Jill, and Gary. Glenn and Jacqueline shared special memories dancing, traveling, and being active in their home church. He enjoyed fishing with his good friends Mel and Audrey Kroeger, who played a very special part in both Glenn and Jacqueline’s lives.

Glenn is survived by his son Richard Ramage and wife Jane; daughter Jill Knutson; son Gary Ramage; grandchildren Gail Ebbesmier, Darian Ramage, and Ryan Knutson; great-grandchildren Brennan and Giana Ebbesmier; sister-in-law Eleanor Holtz, along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Serilla Ramage; wife Jacqueline Ramage; three brothers Jack, William, and Lee; son in law Rick Knutson.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions go to the Redeemer Lutheran Church Nixa Campus.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Visitation will be held prior to the Service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
