Glen A. Wisdom, 51 of Springfield, was peacefully called home, surrounded by loving family members and many friends, on December 01, 2017 following complications of a sudden illness.
Glen was born on November 19, 1966 to loving parents Dickie and Vicki Wisdom in Poplar Bluff, MO. They both survive.
He is also survived by his best friend, partner and husband of over 13 years, Wade Terrell, of Springfield, MO. Glen and Wade shared a very special relationship and love of one another during this time. They were so privileged to travel together seeing many concerts during this time with dear friends. They were so blessed that so many of Wade's school age friends, some dating back over 40 years, accepted Glen with truly open arms as well as accepting Glen and Wade as a loving gay couple and as a part of their network of very dear friends. His unexpected loss will be a huge void, but as anyone whom knew Glen was too love him. His legacy for such will always live on.
Glen is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many, many friends. There are too many to mention in detail.
Glen has been cremated under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, MO as per his wishes. His ashes will be released to Wade for a private family service in Poplar Bluff, which a date will be determined.
After the private services in Poplar Bluff, Glen's ashes will be given back to Wade. And a private celebration of his life will be held in Springfield at a date to be determined.
Glen was a compassionate, caring and loving person to all. He had not one ounce of bigotry, discrimination or hate within him. Rather, he believed everyone was created as equal and lived his life in that degree.
