Geraldine "Jerry" Polley

Geraldine Jean "Jerry" Polley, age 83, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 in her home. She was born October 22, 1930 in Seymour, the daughter of Clifford Carl Polley and Thelma Lee Shumate Polley. She was a graduate of Ozark High School. Jerry was a graphic artist for Southwestern Medical School at the University of Texas. After 40 years Jerry retired in 1991. In 1998 she moved to Ozark. Survivors include: A sister, Bonna Jarecke of Ozark; a lifelong friend, Betty Hatten of Ozark; three nieces and their husbands, Diane and Jim Scott, Angie and Scott Berry, and Kim and Pat Perryman; a great nephew, Dennis Jarecke Jr; three great-nieces, Alicia McMurry, Noel Berry, and Asia Berry; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Don Polley, and a nephew Dennis Jarecke. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 9, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM on Tuesday until service time.
