Georgia Rosalie "Rosie"� McHaffie, age 86, of Bruner, Missouri passed away December 10, 2012 in her home. She was born November 17, 1926 in Rogersville, Missouri to Jesse and Estel (Todd) Grimes. She was married to Chester McHaffie and together they raised four children. She was a member of the Sparta Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing her well-known character "Cousin Minnie"� at the Oldfield Opry for many years and brought a smile to everyone"�s face when she took to the stage. Rosie was a hard worker, working many years at Producer"�s Produce and Hagels. She also played a strong role around the home baking, cleaning, sewing, and keeping up the lawn. She loved her family and they loved her. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rosie is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Terry Lynn McHaffie; an infant granddaughter, Amy McKinney; an infant great-grandson, Joseph Norris; and two brothers, Jim and Manford Grimes. She is survived by her husband Chester McHaffie; her children, James "J.D."� McHaffie, Darrell McHaffie and wife Leta, Jeanne Elgie and husband Bob, Thomas McHaffie and wife Mary Jane; her grandchildren, Terry Gene McHaffie and wife Deborah, Kim Huber and husband Wayne, Tammy Winter and husband Joe, Billy Joe Wilson and wife Christeena, Toni Norris and husband Tim, Lori Jensen and husband Chris, Dustin McHaffie and wife Brooke, Summer Azeez and husband Jeremy, Rob Elgie and wife Lori, Cheryl Curtis, and Linda Barnes; her great-grandchildren, Brandi Culbertson and husband Phillip, Cody Lee McHaffie, Tandra and Lacey Winter, Tia and Bethany Wilson, MaKayla Doty and husband Dillon, Jens Jensen, Taylor, Trent, Sawyer, and Dawson McHaffie, Wyatt Huber, Cody and Jack Norris, Austin and Dillon Azeez, Tyler, MaKenna, and Tori Reagan, Mason Curtis, Natalie, Tiffanie, and Brett Barnes, Ariel, Olivia and Emily Elgie; great-great- grandchildren, Elizabeth and Logan Reagan, Zoey and Sophie Doty; a brother Jess Grimes; and a host of neighbors and many friends. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark with Ted Spencer officiating. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in McHaffie Cemetery, Bruner, Missouri.
