Gary Wayne Urtado

Gary Wayne Urtado (Garbear) April 22, 1973-Apri 1, 2022 Nixa, Mo. Gary Urtado 48 of Nixa Mo passed away on April 1, at 11:04 AM. Gary lived his life loving his family and enjoying the outdoors. He never met a stranger and was always the hub and life of any gathering. Gary loved his family to the fullest and was never happier than when he was able to spend time with his grandchildren.

Gary was able to be an organ donor and, in his death, saved the lives of two others. This is a testament to how he lived his life, always giving. He is survived by his loving wife, two children, 5 Step-children, 8 grandchildren, his mother and sister, 7 nieces and nephews and countless others that called him friend. He is preceded in death by his brother.

There will be a memorial BBQ to be announced at services. You are more than welcome to bring a dish, but must bring your favorite story or time spent with Gary. He loved a good party and lived for the laughs.

Memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Family will receive friends during a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
