Gary W. Hepner

  Gary Hepner, passed away at the age of 87 on February 25, 2022 from a long illness. He is now with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ who he loved to talk about. He grew up in Osage, Iowa, graduated from Osage High School and went to barber college and worked as a barber to support his family for many years. He retired and enjoyed time traveling before settling down in Ozark, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Rajean, his son Douglas, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife Elma of 67 years, his son Dewayne and wife Linda of Cheyenne, WY. His son Darrell and wife Brenda of Nucla, CO. His 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gary was an avid fisherman who loved going out on the Lake, enjoyed woodworking especially making clocks, and loved spending time with family and friends. Anyone who knew Gary knows how much he loved and cared for their many family pets over the years.

 A family directed Celebration of Life will be held on July 3, 2022, 2:00 PM at DeWade Community Church.
