Gary Andrew Brobst

Gary Andrew Brobst of Ozark, Missouri was born December 4,1942, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the oldest son of Daniel and Alyce (Jakub) Brobst. He attended the University of Nebraska and graduated with an engineering degree in 1965. Most of his working career was in heavy industry and later in engineering consulting. He retired from his position as Bond Project Manager at Springfield Public Schools in 2011. Gary loved to travel and spent much of his retirement exploring the Caribbean with family. When he was in Missouri, he enjoyed attending the Silver Sneakers program every week and spending time with his brother, sister-in-law, family and friends. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Karen Haire of Lincoln NE and Eileen Harms of Paso Robles, CA.

He is survived by his brother Kent Brobst and wife Karen of Fremont Hills, MO; Brothers-in-law James Haire of Overland Park, KS and Paul Harms of Paso Robles CA. His children, Janet Rogers of Aurora CO, Lisa Railsback and husband Art of Kyle TX, Daniel Brobst of Frisco TX, David Brobst and wife Beth of Fort Wayne IN and Michael Brobst of Englewood CO. Gary is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. 

No Flowers please. However, memorial donations may be sent to the Salvation Army.

Cremation rites are entrusted in Adams Crematory.
