Garry Wayne Dennis

Garry Wayne Dennis, age 73, of Nixa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Thanks to the loving staff and nurses at Terrace Hospice, Garry was able to remain in his home until his passing.

Garry was born on November 25, 1948, in Springfield, Missouri to the late Elmer and Louella (MacArthur) Dennis.

Garry joined the United States Navy and served on a carriership during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, Garry was able to attend MSU on a veteran’s scholarship. He received his bachelor’s degree in business. Garry then started a landscaping business, Tridenn Nursery and Landscaping in Nixa. He was with the business for over twenty-five years.

On April 7, 1989, Garry was united in marriage to Myrna Jean (Hahn) Noble. Together they loved to travel. Once retired they visited Hawaii numerous times and their latest trip was to Alaska.

Garry was preceded by his parents, brother James Dennis, and nephew Sean Dennis. He is survived by his wife, Myrna Dennis, sons, Rick Noble (Melissa), Russ Noble, Rod Noble (Debbie), grandchildren, Beth Alvarez (Jeremy), Jessica Williams (Matthew), Jacob Noble, Molly Noble, Mic Harrell (Bailey Bennett), Maggie Harrell, great grandchildren, Jude, Gabe, Goldie Grace, Tripp and one on the way, brother Ronnie Dennis (Linda), sister-in-law Cathleen Dennis, and numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and beloved friends.

Garry loved trees and nature, in memory of him, memorial contributions are asked to be gifted to The Missouri Department of Conservation, the Mark Twain National Forest, or the Arbor Day Foundation.

A Celebration of Life will be held form 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Nixa North Point Church.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Adams Crematory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
