Franklin Raymond Boehlke, age 76, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013. He was born August 15, 1937, in Mequon, Wisconsin, the son of Herman and Rose (Schmidt) Boehlke. He served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserves. In his younger years Frank played for a semi-pro baseball team. On September 26, 1959, he and Yvonne Eleanor Buettner were united in marriage. Frank was a structural steel detailer for many years in Germantown, Wisconsin. His hobbies were woodworking and collecting baseball memorabilia. After retirement Frank served as a guard for the Springfield Cardinal Baseball Team. Frank was a Lutheran and most recently attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nixa. Survivors include: His wife, Yvonne; three sons, David Boehlke of Ozark, Lyndon Boehlke and wife Jennifer of St. Louis, and Chadwick Boehlke and wife Cynthia of Jacksonville, Illinois; four grandsons, Jackson, Logan, Benjamin and Peter; a brother, Donald Boehlke and wife Sharon of Florida; a sister-in-law, Karen Boehlke of Indiana; a niece; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Boehlke. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will be in Hopedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday until funeral time. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the donor"�s choice.
