Frank Gabel

Frank Gabel, age 66 of Sparta, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011. He was born December 3, 1944 in Fresno, California, the son of John and Doris (Bridgeman) Gabel. Frank worked as a maintenance custodian for Sparta Schools. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and mowing. Survivors include: his wife, Jean Gabel, Sparta; six children, Mary Morrison and husband Jeff, Ozark, Donna Bieber and husband Rob, Springfield, John Gabel, Springfield, Kathy Paxton and husband John, Kirbyville, Fran Eldred and husband Bruce, Sparta and Ginger Mickey, Ozark; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Price and husband Olen, Oklahoma and Peggy Gabel, California; and two brothers, Kenneth Gabel, Oklahoma and Richard Gabel, California. Funeral services and visitation will be held at a later date in Adams Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Mead officiating. Burial will follow in Chadwick Cemetery.
