Frances Smith

Frances Kolb Smith, age 89 of Nixa, passed away March 20, 2024. She was born March 4, 1935 in Woodville, Texas, the daughter of Bryant and Lillie (Young) Kolb. 

Survivors include: her children, Bobetta Douglas and husband Tom of Nixa; her grandchildren, Andrew Douglas and wife Ingrid of Nixa, Matthew Douglas of Nixa, and Erin Copeland and husband Josh of Ozark; her great grandchildren, Javier Douglas, and Kellan and Owain Copeland; and her siblings, Peggy Page of Texas, Jewel Kolb Murphy of Texas and Bryant Kolb of Texas.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jack Clark and Jerry Clark; and her sister, Avon Ogden Page. 

The family will hold a celebration and burial in Texas at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
