Florene Louise Snyder, age 95, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born October 27, 1918, in Lebanon, Missouri, the daughter of Charlie and Maggie (Jeffries) Fisher. She was married to Ross Snyder.
Louise was employed by Webb City for many years as a tax collector. She was a member of the Business Professional Women's Club in Joplin. Louise was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Joplin, and most recently a member of Ozark United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: Four children, Sharon Morrison of Springfield, Steve Snyder and wife Debbie of Muncie, Indiana, Pat Garrison and husband Sherman of Palmetto, Florida, and Rick Snyder of Palmetto, Florida; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Bea Warner of Venice, Florida and Charlene Alexander of Santa Barbara, California; and a brother, Bill Fisher of Montpelier, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Fisher and her parents.
Memorial services will be in Indiana at a date to be announced later.
