Marian "Faye" Meadows, age 71, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016. She was born in Long Beach, California on April 21, 1945, the daughter of C.H. and Martha (Ramsey) Hammontree. When she was a year old the family moved to a farm just north of Ozark. Faye was a 1963 graduate of Ozark High School. On July 24, 1964 she and Eugene "Stub" Meadows were married.
Faye attended SMS as a voice student. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church, where she served as leader for the senior citizen's group for over 20 years. She loved her Lord and her family. Her favorite times were spent singing with her family and serving the Lord.
Survivors include: Her husband Stub, two children and their spouses, Lori and Billy Trimble and Joe and Vicky Meadows, all of Ozark; grandchildren, Dayton Kizzire and wife Farren, Weston Cole Trimble, Grace Fuchs and husband Jacob, Levi Meadows, and Bailey Meadows; and a great-grandson, Alaric Fuchs.
Faye was preceded in death by a son, Brian Eugene Meadows, a grandson Joshua Brian Meadows, a brother Chuck Hammontree, and her parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Bob Long officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
